PROPHETE – Product design AEG Drive Systems for E-Bikes

With more than 100 years of tradition in the manufacture of bicycles, Prophete cooperates with AEG in the field of sophisticated e-bike drives – a brand that can look back on an equally long history in the field of electric motors. Together with Prophete, we develop high-quality e-bikes with a unique design and innovative drive technology.

The new design line of the drive system 2020 consists of the Downtube battery, the middle motor, as well as the LED display unit. For the first time we have developed a holistic design, which clarifies the collaboration of innovation and design, and in 2018 was honoured with the German Design Award.

The dynamic and pure design fulfils the brand values of AEG and Prophete. The detailed design language and exact definitions of surfaces, colours and materials act as an overall concept. The design always focuses on the end customer’s needs for ease of use, simplicity and high-quality appearance.

The German Design Award 2019 was awarded to us for Excellent Product Design and we also received the Gold IF Award 2019.
