GEBR. BECKER – Experience design “Application technology”

Until now, gamification approaches were considered a “no-go” in the didactics of B2B communication and were only conceivable in B2C communication at most. However, even in industrial communication, playful, creative or emotional approaches can help to inspire customers for the rather “dull” content and generate real involvement.

As part of the realisation of the new customer and training centre “Becker Forum Gennebreck”, we have developed a holistic concept for experiencing Gebr. Becker air technology (application technologies) and realised an in depth implementation.

The invisible medium of air with all its effects and facets can only be experienced in a playful way in order to open up “space” for ideas and applications beyond the already known. Customers, visitors and employees are thus invited to become part of the Gebr. Becker “world of solutions” and enter a creative dialogue with the Becker specialists.

Only this deep involvement with the Becker brand and their products can lead to a long-term and fruitful relationship between the brand and the customer – instead of a one-directional message, a bi-directional communication at eye level takes place.

In addition to the overall strategy for experience communication, we accompanied the entire project from the idea, throughout the creation of technical prototypes, to the final realisation of software and hardware, to a unique experience of physical and digital components. The experience is supported by a native app to create more immersive content and support customer conversations.
